OUR COMMUNITY
The folks who call our church home come from a variety of places--from the farms of Okarche to the neighborhoods of Oklahoma City. We span in age from those who have just entered this life to those who have been walking this earth for nearly a century. We are farmers, business owners, university professors, and blue collar workers. No matter your place in life, you will fit in with our church family as we seek to follow Christ.
OUR HISTORY
In 1977, under the leadership of Rev. John C. Fechner, a family began a journey, seeking
to be a holiness witness for Jesus Christ in the developing suburb of Piedmont, OK.

With an emphasis on ministry to children and youth and a strong belief in practicing compassion with neighbors both near and far, the Piedmont Church of the Nazarene has grown in both size and influence over the last 40 years.

We believe we are engaged with the Lord in a building project--one not limited to bricks and mortar, but with a focus on people's lives. "[Y]ou also like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house" (1 Peter 2:5). We seek to become a Christian holiness, missional people, "that we may declare the praise of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light" (1 Peter 2:9).
